We might have some weather coming our way
Got a weather warning across the tv before for some NJ counties. Severe thunderstorms, 60mph! winds and hail!! 
Looking at the radar, Nassau will most likely get it and maybe western Suffolk. Lots of red on that radar!
Batten down the hatches!

no offense to the OP (because i know this term is used ALL the time) but is CRACKS me up when i hear a "weather warning" or hear someone say we have "weather" coming our way because in my head there is ALWAYS *weather* - it's just a matter of whether it is good or bad!! 
sorry for the tangent. i hope it's not too bad! i HATE hail (although i don't actually know anyone who loves it  )

I love hail!!!!! But I am a weather freak like that. I also love hurricanes, tornadoes, waterspouts  , severe weather. Ahhhhhhh.

I am in Union County, NJ and we just had a heck of a storm pass through. It was pouring, lightening, crazy thunder!
The major stuff passed pretty quickly.
It was funny because DH and I were upstairs putting DS to bed and we were reading him some stories. Then it started pouring and DS started looking around the room because he had no idea wheat it was or where it was coming from!

That hail was crazy! I looked out our front door at the same time my neighbor did across the street so I waved to her and we laughed! IT WAS HAILING HARD!
