We need some laughs... yes?
Enough political threads... I present you with an excerpt from my diary, circa 1990... (I was 15)
January 1, 1990
Dear Diary,
I haven't written in a while so let me tell you what has happened since I last wrote. My grandfather died suddenly. It was a very scary experience.
Oh, remember those 3 girls who said they were Donnie Wahlberg's sisters (when we met him in November). Well, they really weren't his sisters but are really good friends. My cousin Claire found out Kim (one of the girls) phone # and Claire's friend Genene called & like told her off. I called Kim and apologized for Genene's behavior. We got to talking now her & Tracy call me every night. They want me to come to Howard Beach next weekend. They are going to tell us where the New Kids are staying in March. I think Genene is a *****.
In February me, Nora & Cristine are going to Florida. Kim told me they are going to be there & what hotel they'll be in. I can't wait.
Last Wednesday, my job had a Christmas party. It was so much fun. I'm a good dancer. This guy Alex is really cute but I think he likes Nora so I am going to hook them up. This girl Madeline is jealous.
Ok, got to do my hair now

I was just talking to my friend whose husband is Alex and I was wondering if that was him.
I have to find my old diaries. I used to write lists of outfits to wear. I'd plan every ensemble down to socks and earrings.

Hmm I have to find my diary I have a very extensive entry about how HOT I look in cut off shorts and tank tops but not in bathing suits because I dont have boobs yet . . . .

I have a few doozies in there... There is a whole diary entry that has to do with how GREAT my hair looked that day.
ahhhhhh the early 90s... sprial perms and the white aqua net can with the pink stripes...
