But let me tell you (a little venting here)...About 2 months ago NB called and said we needed one more piece of paper stating income from the coaching DH does at night (soccer)...2 months later the man in charge finally gives it to DH last night but the man did not have it notarized...And DH took it... I was like...WHY did you take the letter, it needs to be notarized!!!! So now the letter has to go back tonight to the man so he can get it completed. God forbid this person would go a tad out of his way to get the request completed. I SWEAR if this ONE piece of paper is NOT completed b/f the approval arrives and delays us in anyway I will flip!!

Me: Yesterday made the two month mark since I've gotten my fingerprinting done and I still haven't gotten my "approval." It's GOT to be coming soon!

How frustrating for both of you! The approvals will be here within the next few weeks I'm sure of it!

No new updates here. Just waiting waiting waiting. I was suppose to be traveling this month but now I think we will be lucky to traveling next March.

But on the bright side of things, with all the extra time I have, I took a new position at my company which gives a pretty good promotion and a great raise with a bonus being more than double that I made last year and when I do finally get my precious daughter, they are very very good at flex time so I might continue working. We'll see.

Karen, I just got chills reading your post because I honestly believe that God has a plan for each of us, and our timeframes are matching accordingly. At least that's what gets me by. CONGRATULATIONS! I am so, so happy for you!

Sandra, I keep thinking of your friend that got her approval 10 weeks from her fingerprinting appt and that's what's getting me by. I start my 2 week countdown today! I'm wishing I was going away with you now.

I am hoping he doesn't come that soon! I know I know! We are sooooo not ready. Our carpet in the bedroom is offically on the street. Our bed is in the guest room. The guest bed is propped up against the wall. The wires are still hanging out of the wall. (Sandra will attest to that) The dressers are now in the foyer. I have no idea where any of my clothes are.

Tias room.... hum how should I say this looks like a bomb blew up!
I know thats not a bomb but it its the only exploding thing there.

You guys ready for a funny, not so funny story. My dear precious child has decided that tantrums are the way to go. So last Thursday (yes she was sick) but holy cow look out. The devil child has awoken.

I went to feel her forhead while she was asleep and woke a sleeping giant. She started screaming and kicking "Go away" "Leave me Alone" "GO out side" "I don't want you" You name it she screamed it. Well after she was kicking me too much I gave her a time out. Then in time out she started kicking the baby gate. Now I bring her little flailing body up stairs to her room. Where I promplty tell he she needs to stay in bed to calm down. Figuring she would fall asleep! Well 45 Minutes later all of a sudden we go from screaming to silent. So I go look, and there she is standing on her bed... legs apart and she YELLS at the top of her lungs "I PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED IN MYYYYYYY BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!" I almost lost my mind. Now here the worest part, two weeks ago When my brother in law and sister in law were here they slept in Tia's bed. Well a week after that MY BIL discovered he had lice. YEAH GROOSSSSSSSSS!!!!! so I threw away everything on the bed. to include her waterproof mattress covering! AGGGGGHHHHHH. Now she goes and pees in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I am about to lose my mind. Oh by the way there were no lice in my house THANK GOD! He must have gotten them after he was here! I couldn't even sleep with out being grossed out! Thank god no signs of the buggers!

So thats been my last week. Dealing with her tantrums! How bout terrible 4's anyone. LOL.

Thank God she is doing better today nad no tantrums so far the last 2 days!

YEAH!

Oh I took away her gold shoes and the peeing in the pants stopped immediately. Imagine that!

I can't believe it I was thinking of it today and there it was!!!

Ask NB when you call them how long it will take to get your Home study to Korea. I think ours was delayed because of that Birth mother letter we needed to write. Ask when is your paperwork going to be sent to Spence Chapin. I am really curious.

I called Cathy this morning and started crying tears of happiness when I was on the phone with her. She told me that my homestudy will probably go over to Korea tomorrow!!!!!!! I was NOT expecting that! I told her that I thought the homestudy would sit at Spence Chapin for a while (because of what happened with you ladies) but Cathy assured me that this was not the case!

ETA: She said the timeframe has not changed and that my referral should come in 6-8 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jenn, I would love it if our tots were on the same flight so that I could wait at JFK with you, but I'm sure Ryan will come home months before my little one. We're thinking s/he'll come home in October because Cathy said 6-8 weeks for a referral and then another 6-8 weeks for Gotcha Day! OMG!
