We really want a new bedroom set and UPDATED WITH PICS - PLEASE GIVE YOUR OPINIONS!!
saw one on line at JC Penney - believe it or not.. anyway.. it just so happens that the 40% off sale is until tomorrow. We have not received our actual closing date yet, but our bank representative said that we could be clear to close by the earliest next week.. Do we wait and forget about the bedroom set for now until we know exactly when we'll be in (we can request the set to arrive after mid August)... OR just buy it now??
It's an awesome deal at under 2K for the entire set..
Please give me some sound advice. TIA

buy it and have it shipped to the store you want to pick it up at...
that way you save on delviery costs..
AND you can pick it up when you are movng (with ur uhaul etc)

If your sure thats the one you want, get it. You can have them ship it whenever you want.....set the delivery date for next month or something....as long as you leave a deposit you wil get the sale price..........

Hey hun. The sale is SUCH a good price, DH and I didnt need our set until the end of september, but we bought it last week form JcPenny too. We're getting it shipped to us the end of September.
I would grab it while the sale lasts. You're going to KICK yourself if you dont and the price goes back up. I say get it!!!!!

We bought ours 2 months before our closing and didn't have it delivered until 2 months after we moved in. You should be able to set the delivery date for the future....... Check with JCPenny

not to offend but it isn't really my style. however, it IS a great price. if you love it, then go for it! do they have other sets on sale?

when we first moved in we were also desperate for bdrm furniture. anyway, we ordered a sleigh bed, 1 nightstand and a dresser from JCP. there was an issue w/ the dresser so we never received it. although i like the bed and nightstand, i definitely don't LOVE it. i have been able to make it work though.
i know it is tempting but don't rush into ANY decisions. shop around until you find something you LOVE. it might take longer than planned but what is most important is that you are 110% happy w/ the decision.

We found a bedroom set before our closing date was set as well. Raymore & Flanigan let us put a fully refundable deposit down to hold the sale price.
So, I say go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im not a huge fan of the set
but check out levtiz.. they have nice sales too all the time...
we jsut got our set and its fabulous!
they have a 30 day acceptance window too
so you can just select date you want and if youw ant to change it you can do it online
