we started cereal today.....
and the look of total discust on her face is the response we got to it  hopefully tomorrow goes better, she was more interested in chewing on the spoon then she was eating the cereal...I have it on video very funny to watch, but I really hope she warms up to it or else we are in trouble!

thanks for the suggestion...i may try it sunday if tomorrow dosent go well again...i think she got more on her hands/bib then in her mouth!

Dont for get Hair!!!! crusty!
Adding fruit or a veggie will take that cardboard taste away.. I also started Reesie on Mixed Fruit Rice cereal by Gerber..

hahaha i dont think we had any in her hair today...maybe tomorrow lol
hmm i did see a box with bananas and i think it was prunes mixed in...maybe she will like that better...we will see what happens...maybe tomorrow she will think its ok....haha took her like 2.5 months to even have a sip of water because it wasnt like her formula...she LOVES her formula!

They do get a used to it.. i just found i had to adjust the consitance (sp?) of the cereal for my dd to enjoy.

I am going through the same thing right now with DS. We've been trying for a week now, this morning was little better but I have to admit his facial expressions are hysterical. Good luck!

Try a different consistency--that helped DS with his rice and oat cereal, though he's still not a big fan. And barley--he gags when I feed him that. I may give up on that soon and try it again in the future.

I will try thinning it out a little tomorrow see how that goes...im sure she will get the hang of it sooner or later...i must admit i will miss the face she made when she does start enjoying it...thank goodness i got it on video!
