We took our Childbirth Class Saturday at Winthrop

I have to say, it was a great class!

The nurse who ran it is an L&D nurse from Winthrop. I thought she gave us sooo much great info.
Everything she went over were things I have been stressing about and asking about for so long.

She even gave us a list of things to pack for the hospital (I had just posted about that last week).

She did review breathing techniques as well, but most of the class was about the procedure at Winthrop, what to expect, when to come to the hospital, what to bring, who can come and when, review of the labor process, and delivery, epidurals, episotomies and then she showed us a short video of a C/S and a vaginal birth! Since I am a RN I have seen both deliveries many times, but it was good for my DH to see and a good review for me as well.

I have to start calling around to find out about these classes. Did you call Winthrop directly(I'm delivering there as well), or did you get the info from your OB? My OB's wife runs childbirth classes and I'm going back and forth between taking them with her, or going through the hospital.... (she's an RN)
