We tried on DD's Christening gown today...
Man this thing has more crinoline than my wedding dress had. I think we are going to have to cut it out, I can not see how she will fit in her carseat with this gown. But I love the gown, so pretty and it opens at the bottom just like my wedding gown did. Image Attachment(s):

Very pretty! Why not dress her when you get to the church? That's what we did, so we could get him into his carseat and keep the gown fresh.

We did the same. I could not get DS in his seat with the gown on. It took us 5 minutes literally to get him dressed and ready for the ceremony. We of course changed him back into his other outfit to go to the lunch after also.
That dress is beautiful & your DD is gorgeous.
