Wear to buy maternity dress for a wedding?

I went to destination maternity. You can also order online, but I found it better to go an try on things.

The Macys at Roosevelt Field mall has a pretty big maternity section. I just bought my dress for my shower this coming weekend.

Wear to buy maternity dress for a wedding?
I bought a dress from Old Navy that I wore to a wedding yesterday. Plain fuschia colored jersey knit dress. It wasn't even remotely expensive considering I probably won't be wearing it much more -- except maybe to work with a jacket over and possibly to my SIL's baby shower in october (though I'm not sure being everyone that will be the baby shower was at the wedding yesterday...). The wedding was outdoors though and not black tie.
