Wearing boyfriend's HS ring as a necklace?
Um, didn't we stop doing this by the first day of college?
A girl at work has a HUGE ring as a necklace today - she's 22/23.... and her current b/f isn't even her highschool b/f

I used to wear my promise ring and my engagement ring (not at the same time) around my neck when it didn't fit my finger. Maybe her ring is significant in the same way?

are you sure it's a HS ring? some people have rings from college. my boss - who is 39 - still wears her college ring daily.
even so - i don't think i'd be a fan of the concept at that age. but, perhaps it has some sort of speciial significance to him/them?

I was thinking the same thing. My father still wears his college ring every day, and he's - um - older than 39. 
I still wear my college ring occasionally, too. I don't wear my DH's on a chain around my neck, but maybe it has sentimental value to this person.

I wear my DH's wedding ring on a chain around my neck.
I'm sure it looks silly to some people, but it has a lot of significance to me.

It looks beautiful
And actually, my grandmother wore my grandfather's ring around her neck on a chain from the day he died until the day she died.

maybe it's not her b/f's, maybe it was someone close to her that passed away? i actually like rings on necklaces if they have meaning, i think it's really nice.
