Re: Wedding question - Riviera Brides
We used the Best Western Bar Harbour in Massapequa on Sunrise Hwy. It's not the most glamorous, but it got the job done.
There really isn't much else in the area unless you go to 110- which isn't too far.

Thanks. I knew that hotel was there, but did not know how it was. Does it have a bar and restaurant? They are having an afternoon wedding and figure if there is a bar, people can hang out there afterwards.

Re: Wedding question - Riviera Brides
I wantd inside rooms, so we booked the Courtyard Mariott in Farmingdale (I think this is it - I think it has a abr but it's like in the lobby area. Unsure of a restaurant. GREAT Hotel.
We also booked the Hilton Gardcen inn Westbury hope this link works and that's also where I got ready. It was SO great and really pretty. I don't think they have a bar though.

Huntington Hilton - it's not in Huntington it's in Melville. That's where DH and I and our guests stayed.
ETA: We were married in 2005, they had shuttle service available for a fee back then. The rooms were very nice and clean. We all met up at the bar downstairs after the wedding.

Huntington Hilton
This is where DH and I and our Guests stayed the night of our wedding. Not too far from the riviera. We had a party bus come and pick us up. It was Immaculately clean, and the bar was open the latest out of any of the other hotels.
My brother and his wife stayed at the new Marriott in Farmingdale on 110. It's really nice too. Much cleaner than the Melville Marriott.

Re: Wedding question - Riviera Brides
My sister and friends stayed at the Massapequa Best Western and had a watch stolen from the room. Miraculously it reappeared after the told the manager.
I've always been curious if the rail road bothers people sleeping? I'm a light sleeper, so I wonder.

There is also a Townplace suites behind the Courtyard in Farmingdale on 110. We stayed there and it was very nice. As far as a bar, there is a pretty new Houlihan's very close. I think it may have even been next door.
