Wedding Question

If you went to a wedding where the cocktail hour started at 7:30, what time would you expect to eat. I went to a wedding last night, and did not eat the main meal until 11:30. There was salad and pasta before.

Re: Wedding Question

something must have been up in the kitchen or with the management and they had a big delay in getting the dinners out.

Re: Wedding Question

My cocktail hour also starts at 730.. ends at 830. And dinner will probably be served around 10pm

I went to a wedding at Russo's and we were served the dinner around 11:30 - I remember thinking how crazy late that was! Maybe that's their norm?Chat Icon

Wow...it's looking like that may be their norm. That's so late and annoying for guests that just can't stay out/up that late. We had guests that travelled long distances or were too elderly to stay at the wedding really late but who wants to leave before dinner? Chat Icon

Re: Wedding Question

If the cocktail hour was not extended then 10:30. Sometimes if the B&G extend the recpetion, dinner will be delayed

That is the norm for a later wedding at Russo's.
