Wednesday Billy Joel Concert = Incredible (warning: spoilers)
Wow...just wow is the ONLY thing I can say. That concert was worth every single penny and then some.
I frequent concerts and I have to say that it was THE best one I've ever been too.
I was content without the special guests but seriously, when the great Tony Bennett and Don Henley came out, DH thought I was going to DIE. I never screamed so much in my entire life (and totally whispering today b/c I lost my voice.)
It's absolutely incredible that 50K+ people came out for ONE person...it's amazing, remarkable, and I'm sure he is UP THERE as a legend.
I don't even know who could sell out like that these days...
OH, and someone the other day on here asked for the list of songs...here they are. (don't scroll down if you do not want to know!)

We thought the concert was great-- but the sound was terrible.
It was very hard to hear a lot of things-- especially when he was just talking. It was just not loud enough. But, we were in the upper deck (same price though!) and had a ton of idiots around us who thought we were at a baseball game.
We parked right under the parkway on Northern-- for free-- and go out of there pretty quickly-- made it back to Hoboken in about 30 mins.

I had a hard time hearing some things as well from the upper deck but, I agree with Christine - it was, by far, the best show I've ever seen.
I appreciate that he apologized for adding another show on Friday!
I really loved that Don Henley and John Mellencamp came out and sang their own songs. So great!
I loved also that he played for 3 hrs with no intermission - so not expecting that!
There were a couple of songs I could do without and a couple more songs it would've been nice to hear but, he has so many great songs - it's hard to hear them all!
We had someone drop us off and we had no problem getting in and out of the stadium and were at our friend's in New Rochelle in 20 minutes.
The lines to get in were so long!!! They should have had more gates open at each gate to speed things up a bit but, we got seated before the concert started so that was fine.
Like Randella, I was in the upper deck and couldn't hear him talking so well (I attributed a lot of that to the girl behind me who knew about 3 songs and wouldn't stop talking - luckily she had to go to the bathroom a lot so she was gone for the majority of the show - she had never heard the Boys of Summer before).
Someone in my office had heard Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr were going to be there - I wonder if they will be there on Friday - I kept on expecting them to come out every time he played a Beatles tune!

ahhh of course he did Miami 2017- my FAVORITE!
And yes....that's what was playing when my sister called. "She Loves You"!! I remember seeing Billy at Nassau and he played I Want to Hold Your Hand! He does awesome renditions of Beatles songs!
Everyone that went is just SOOO lucky!!

It was totally amazing! DH and I had floor seats (I got them from work) and just being on the field was amazing in itself. We are HUGE Mets fans, so it was incredible to walk on the field, check out the dug out...
Looking up at the stands and seeing everyone sing along was really moving
The play list was better than I expected, and this concert will go down as one of my favorites ever (although it is a tough call between Paul McCartney at MSG last year and DMB is Central Park in 2003.)
When Tony Bennet came out... OMG! I could not imagine a better moment than Billy and Tony singing NY State of Mind.
The show was truly incredible!

We were in the very front of the upper deck and the sound was great there. I only wish the sound was good inside when I was going to the bathroom and buying refreshments. That took forever and I could not wait to get back into the show!!!!!

I wasn't planning on going but got a call last minute that some friends had an extra ticket soooo after some convincing I went.....and am I glad I got to go !!!
It was a really GREAT show !

We were on the Field Level -- right up off the floor seats and it was THE BEST. The sound was incredible (no issues for us what so ever.)

I am so so sad I gave away my ticket. 
I didn't feel like making the trip to LI for it as I have seen Billy about 5 or 6 times already... and now I totally regret it.

I don't think that's going to happen. I read that Paul McCartney is doing some huge show in Canada this weekend and I know Ringo Starr is on tour with his All Star Band.
That would definately be awesome though, and I would have the big bucks StubHub is asking just to see that alone!
If anything, it's totally feasible that Elton John could join Billy on stage, as I know he's playing a show in AC on Saturday night (which I'll be at )

I have to say hands down it was the best concert I have ever been to. I just got into work. I didn't get home until 2:30. It was so hard to get back to the car. We ended up parking in the Tennis Center parking lot because they were charging 30 dollars to park. We were on the floor and that was a task to get out. In the beginning they let us in via Right Field on the way out they only had left field open. We jumped the wall and climbed the stairs. I am so glad we got tix to the show. Amazing.

I agree in that is was awesome. Just a great experience. I think I must have danced for the full 3 hours he performed. I loved all of the guests and was so glad I didn't read any spoilers so I was truely surprised.
