Weeds - Season/Series Finale - SPOILERS

Did I miss the discussion? I went back a few pages and didn't see one.

Or am I the only one left who has struggled thru the past few seasons.

I thought this season might get good because they brought back Heylia for a bit.. but it was terrible. Nancy is just awful and I find it impossible to root for her at all. She used to seem misguided - a single mom needing to make money and turning to drug dealing to get by. Now? She's just a full on criminal with little to no remorse. She constantly hurts the people that love her. She's a user and a disappointment. Honestly.. unless they have some plan to take the show back to it's roots .. I don't care if they bring it back.

Now that I got THAT out of the way.. (SPOILERS)

I have no clue what deal Shane made .. I'm confused and I don't like being left bewildered.

Jill is awful (must run in the family) and her husband was not a bad person.. her abandoning him to live as Stevie's mom in a family compound was contrived and stupid. They should have killed her off.

The shot at the end ..? I guess if the series is over we are to assume they ended Nancy. Oh well. If it gets renewed I'm HOPING it hit Jill and that the family moves back to Agrestic to start over. Maybe next season can deal with how to get OUT of the drug game and become 'normal' again. Her dealer past can keep popping up at inopportune times and it could keep things interesting in a way that it hasn't been in YEARS.

No you aren't alone...

It was a pretty shocking season finale (like all the rest). There was a very interesting spoiler in TV guide... but it doesn't answer any questions

Nancy is totally unlikeable- actually all of them are. The only character I actually like is Andy and he needs to get the heck away from these crazy people.

Ever since the show left Agrestic it has gone off the deep end and really made charactertures of the all the characters that I really liked.. What they did to Celia's character is really awful.

Agreed.

Maybe Jill's husband had his wife killed. That would be nice. Or maybe Nancy had her killed, to get her out of the way? Nancy made too many enemies though. It could be anyone after her really.

As for Shane, maybe the Detective thinks that putting him in the Police Academy is a way to punish him and keep him from the criminal life he enjoys. Maybe he thinks if his step-son wont follow his footsteps, then maybe Shane will. Who knows.

But was it really supposed to be the series finale? I'm OK it was, only because this season was tough to watch. Chat Icon
