Weight gain
Im not sure about the weight gain, for a while I stayed the same put on no weight, I know my babies are getting bigger so I know that's why I'm gaining. I don't want to gain an obscene about of weight though. Im 17 + 5 with twins and gained a solid 10lbs, maybe 11. Is this too much?

Re: Weight gain
I think that's great. I'm not sure what normal weight gain is for twins, but I was up that much with one by then and my doctor is fine with my weight gain

Weight gain
Not at all. Plus everyone gains weight differently. Some people more in the first and slow down in second then catch up in the third, etc.. I don't know the target number for twins but a women who is of healthy weight pre pregnancy should aim for 30-35 pounds. Slightly more if your underweight and slightly less if your over. But your body will just gain what it needs. My friend gained 80 pounds her last pregnancy. She was underweight at the start and her doctor wasn't concerned.

Weight gain
Try not to stress about it! I was gaining 1 lb a week for a while and I was totally stressing out. At 24 weeks, I had gained like 20 pounds. For the last 15 weeks of my pregnancy, I only gained 3 pounds. I was a healthy weight prepregnancy and easily lost the weight post partum.

Weight gain
Thanks all! I was normal weight when I got pregnant like 145lbs, top of the ideal weight range. My doctor recommended 40-55lbs for twins. I just want to make sure I'm not gaining too much now and then all the sudden at the end when they are gaining weight rapidly I become shamoos cousin!!!! They haven't said anything yet about my weight. Last appointment they said just try and meet 2500 calories per day which I'm not sure if I do? Probably when I eat crappy but other days I definitely don't! I don't wait to gain too much but don't want to starve them either!!!!!

You will not starve them. If you don't eat enough one day, they just take from your fat reserves. My diet while pregnant was identical to my diet before being pregnant. I even continued to exercise 6 days a week. My DS was 8 lbs 4 oz when born and I gained 23 lbs total. The babies take what they need!!

Re: Weight gain
It sounds good to me. I'm up 20 pounds at 28 weeks. I gained most of it really early because I was nauseous and could only eat carbs like bagels then.

Don't worry about starving them. Definitely not a concern. Everyone gains differently.

Re: Weight gain
That sounds perfectly fine to me! Everyone gains differently. I gained most of my weight in my first trimester. Now at 30 weeks I'm up 16 lbs. It just seems to have slowed down a lot all of a sudden. Yet my SIL gained nothing in her 1st trimester and started putting on her weight in her 2nd trimester. So, it's different for everyone.

Re: Weight gain
Just make healthy choices. It's all you can do. Don't pay attention to the number on the scale. As long as you're making healthy choices, you're doing all you can. The number will be what it will be.
