Weight gan first trimester

Hey girls,

I have my sisters wedding in march and i have to fit into a bridesmaid dress. how much weight did u gain in your first trimester?

I gained 6lbs in my first trimester. I had no m/s at all though. A lot of women don't gain any weight or even lose weight because of m/s. It really depends on the individual.

I think about 5 pounds. I didn't get any ms or anything and just added a healthy breakfast when I found out since I used to be bad and skip it.

I gained 6 at 11 weeks , but some do not gain anything

I also had NO m/s

I have gained 4lbs at 11wks.

I didn't have m/s or food adversions though. Funny thing was I lost weight from the time i became pregnant to my 9 week appt

I lost 10 pounds in my first trimester.

Any ladies with m/s have feedback regarding weight gain. I'm into my fifth week going on sixth and m/s set in on Sunday. For someone who loves to eat I really miss my old appetite.

2 pounds, although I feel like I gained 15!

I am 14 weeks and have gained 9 pounds total so far. All those 9 pounds were in the first 11 weeks.

I gained 8lbs in the first tri with m/s! I couldn't believe it.

I gained 12 lbs in 12 weeks. Now I'm pretty much at 17 lbs in 17 weeks.

I was up 6 pounds at 8 weeks but going on Thursday so will find out if there is more to add. I also had no m/s.

I'm almost 13 weeks, and as of yesterday, lost 5 lbs. My waist is definitely thicker, so certain things don't fit as well, but it's not really noticeable at this point.

I gained just about 15lbs my first trimester.
I didnt have any morning sickness!

up about 3 lbs at 10 weeks so I assume I will be +5 at the end of 1st tri

Didnt gain anything but I had nausea up until last week - week 16 -thankfully it seems to have gone now so I am sure I will make up for not eating in the first trimester!!

Its hard to tell really - depends on your pregnancy and your body.

It's been fluctuating. I'm 12 weeks now, and as of this morning I'm up 2 lbs. since Christmas. The highest it's been is up 5 lbs.

I had morning sickness, but I needed to constantly eat to keep the nausea at bay.

For me, it's not so much the weight gain as how my body has changed. My boobs are a lot bigger, and my belly is super bloated and swollen. I think you should factor that in when trying on dresses. Maybe you can hold off on getting alterations until right before the wedding, that way you don't make it too small too soon.
