Weight Limit for Checked- In Luggage?
I think my suitcase may be too heavy. Is there a weight restriction for checked-in luggage on planes?
My one suitcase alone has to be 80lbs.

50 lbs
mine was 59 and I was charged $25
use 2 suitcases maybe?

I believe it is 50-- you can check the TSA web site.

Def check with the airline. IN my past experiences, it was 50Lbs max per bag. You are normally allowed to check in 2 bags.

I just called JETBLUE, and they gave me the following info:
51-70lbs --> $21.00 fee extra
71- 99lbs --> $50.00 fee extra
100lbs and over --> not allowed

Yeah....Its 50...I had a heavy one coming back from the HM and they were going to charge us some insane amount so I got really upset like I was going to cry and they said "oh ok I won't charge you this time just distribute the weight better among your suitcases the next time" OK
