Weight Loss - please share tips

I am (once again) embarking on a diet Chat Icon

Egg whites on WW toast is really tiding me over in the morning and a peeled & cut up apple is helping the aternoon munchies
Evenings are still tough

What are your diet tricks?

Benefiber makes a chocolate fiber drink (powder) that is pretty good when blended w/water, ice and a little skim milk. I like to add a banana if Im having it for bfast. Very thick, sugar free, and filling b/c its a fiber supplement. I think its 50 caloires per scoop...You find it near the metamucil and stomach meds in the supermarket. And don't worry, you wont be pooping like crazy after it!!...fiber is good for the belly!

I am doing a low carb diet. I have been having 1 cup of grapefruit juice every morning and every night when I get home from work before dinner. I read somewhere that it helps when dieting and I have to say I started this on Mon (again) and this is the first time I have not had food cravings during the days.

Also, I have been having jello and 2tbsp of cool whip lite every nite as a snack.

Eat from a small plate. You will eat less. Wait 20 minutes, if you are still hungry(trust me you probably won't be) then allow yourself to have more.

I eat protein with carbs, or protein with fat, never carbs with fat. if I do, then I eat very little of it.

Portion control.

If it's a diet, don't do it.

Whatever you do to lose weight you must be able to make a lifestyle. Otherwise, it will all come back.

If you want it, eat a little and move on. It's when you try to eat around something that you get in trouble (you eat everything else and THEN end up eating what you really want anyway!)

Lean protein
fiber
low calorie carbs

Stop saying "I can't have it." When you say you can't have something, you want it more.

Hot water with fresh lemon juice
