weight loss and TTC
Question to you ladies who are trying to lose weight (like who isn't?) How are you going about it? I have to lose about 25lbs. I am a lifetime WW member, but seriously fell off the wagon after my wedding. I HAVE to start dieting, but then I start to think about how that happens when I get PG and start to gain weight. I know it sounds stupid, but I can't get myself to understand how to lose weight and "get PG" at the same time.

i dont know either, but i know its better to start and lose whatever u can before than to not lose anything and gain when pregnant. at least me. WW is healthy so I figure Im really not dieting, just getting healthy before... good luck!!!

Re: weight loss and TTC
It's better to loose what you can before getting PG. You can still eat healthy and excersice when you get PG. I keep thinking the same thing though. How do I lose weight only to gain even more weight when i am PG. I can't get that out of my head. I am already thinking of how i am going to lose the weight after i give birth. I plan on keeping my workout routine throughout my pregnancy so it's not so hard getting back into after i give birth.

Re: weight loss and TTC
I was dedicated to losing weight while TTC. I made a habit of walking everyday at lunch. Even when I fell off the wagon (which sadly, was often), I never really gained too much because of the extra walking.
Walking while TTC will put you in a good habit for when you are PG as well.

Re: weight loss and TTC
This is my situation. I've been on WW for about 2.5 years. I lost 30 lbs and have since gained 15lbs. Now I'm actively TTC and actively trying to lose those 15lbs. Seeing as I really want to have a baby I'll take a pregnancy whenever I can get it. In the meantime, I'm sticking to a strict diet and exercising.

Re: weight loss and TTC
You shouldn't delay your exercise/diet plans because you will just gain weight when you are pregnant.
Anything you lose prior to the BFP will be that much less you gain. It's also an excellent distraction.
I've lost 16 lbs while TTC (probably added a few with the holidays) . Every month that passes I get a BFN, I'm still happy that I've lost weight.
Otherwise I'd STILLl not be pregnant & STILL unhappy about my weight KWIM ?
Good Luck!!!
