weird cat behavior
I just noticed the other day that my cat was sitting down, and dragging his bottom across the floor with his 2 front paws. (which makes perfect sence if your behind is itchy and you don't have hands)
At first I thought I missed something, because he stopped when he saw me looking at him.
This morning I saw him do it again! I checked him out, and it doesn't seem like there is a rash. He was de wormed already, and he doesn't go outside.
I've seen dogs do this, but never a cat -
I 'm going to call the vet tomorrow, but I was posting the question to see if this has happened with anyone's cats.

Re: weird cat behavior
It sounds like he is trying to clean his bottom. Im sure a vet will be able to give you a better answer.

Re: weird cat behavior
Sounds to me like his anal gland needs emptying - call your vet to make an appointment to get it done

Re: weird cat behavior
maybe just cleaning his bottom? i;ve heard that when dogs do this--it can sometimes be a sign of worms--but not sure in cats.
definitely the vet will have more answers for ya.
