Weird Computer Question
My computer all of a sudden, when the fan on the back of the tower goes on is SOOO loud....
.....you can hear it in the other room. This just started happening?
Anyone know why? Its annoying.

the fan could have allot of dust in it or one of the ball bearings is broken and the fan might need to be replaced.
(usually less than $10 for the fan from Radio Shack)

I agree with the dust. The best way to start is to open the tower and spray air in it. If that fails, keep the tower open with a small fan blowing on it. This is what we do and it saves money and aggravation.

I was thinking dust too
I know when I took the cover off Dh's I couldn't believe what was in there
