weird cramping - update
for the past week or so i've been having strange cramping. it's not like the ones i got at first in my lower abdomen. these feel like shooting pains going down the center of my uterus towards my cervix, for lack of a better term.
ladies who are further along, you'll know what i mean when i say it feels like when the baby is pushing on the cervix. it's a pain like that.
i have a sono scheduled for 1pm, i hope it's nothing, but at the same time i don't remember having this with DS so i'm a bit worried.
UPDATE:
so the sono went really well! we saw the HB right away - 167 - and the baby is starting to look human! the tech was so nice, and she got a couple of cute-but-fuzzy shots that i'll try and scan later.
the best part was when the baby started moving - it was wiggling and dancing all over. OMG i definitely fell in love right there!! 
the tech also measured my cervix, which she said looked fine, so i guess the cramping is normal. yay!!

I had a similar pain all through my first tri and into the second. I described it to the docs as a pinching feeling in my cervix. They all kinda looked at me like I was weird.
Obviously everything turned out fine. It's probably just stretching going on in there.

i didn't describe it to my OB because i thought she would give me the same look  but that's exactly what it feels like.
i am sure the sono will be fine but there's always that tiny bit of doubt in the back of my mind...

I get the same thing off and on. I actually freaked out a couple of times thinking it had something to do with my incision from my c/s.
