weird crawl!
Does anyones else baby do the military crawl instead of the regular crawl? Bryan does this crawl where he drags himself across the floor sort of like an inch worm or a wounded soldier! Im wondering if this is going to be his crawl or if he is going to eventually crawl the regular way?

Caiden also did that. They don't do it for long, so don't worry!  Before you know it they'll be up on all 4's.

Jake is doing the same thing!! I just assume he'll be on all fours eventually because he does try.
I think they call that "creeping". 
But let me tell you, between the creeping and rolling, he can definitely get around.

Julia does that too, and she also crawls backwards. I'm hoping she will crawl the regular way soon!

Bryan does the creeping, rolling and sits up and turns around and def get around too- its so funny to watch  I would think just crawling would be easier oh well.

Joseph did the wounded soldier/spider crawl for a few weeks and then went to a regular crawl. It had me completely freaked out since I had read up on child brain development and the importance of crawling, how brain injuries can often be detected with crawling, etc. In the end, he was completely fine.
I also knew a little boy that used to crawl like an orangutan that up until the point where he walked. He's perfectly fine too.
For Maddie, we had Joseph crawl around on the floor to "show her". She picked it up right away.

My nephew used to do that. He actually never really "crawled" he just pulled himself all over the place.
Logan doesn't crawl or creep yet, he just gets around by rolling back and forth all over the place...it very funny to watch

Claire crawled like this for about 1 month and then figured out how to crawl normal. It is funny to watch

My nephew crawled but dragged one leg under him so he would ony use one leg to move. Pretty funny! But he walks fine now! He's 11
