Weird expression

A co-worker's ex-husband used this expression to say how broke he is...

"I'm riding on the balls of my a$$"

Has anyone ever heard of / used this expression before?

What are some other "out-there" expressions you have heard?

At work, I heard: "You threw me under the bus." Meaning, "You fed me to the wolves." or something to that effect.

Seriously - this just mght take the cake as the oddest thing I've ever heard.

We were rolling with laughter at lunch coming up with scenarios where we can use this in daily life!

Re: Weird expression

my DH has some werid expressions...when we first started dating I really thought it was going to be a deal breaker!

I guess i knew he was the one when they stopped bothering me as much. At least now I can make fun of him when he says them.

oh, but no, I have never heard That one before!

Re: Weird expression

ok not that it is uncommon but I hate when people say "A" for effort instead of "E" for effort.

Re: Weird expression

I've heard that one. One that my husband uses to help me visualize race cars driving very close to one another is "nuts to butts".

LOL, that made me laugh!

To the OP, I've heard that before. My brother and father have some strange expressions. I'll have to think of some. I too can get strange as well, lol, but I'm drawing a blank. Chat Icon
