Weird question - NST
I'm 32 weeks with and I go to NSUH Manhasset for monitoring, they want me to go every weeks since 30 weeks for scans and NST's.. being in and out of the hospital.. I've had about 6 NST's up until now... but my twins are soooo active that they always make me stay on the monitor for like 40 mins where one nurse has to hold one paddle and I have to hold one.. or sometimes 2 nurses come in to do the trace... and then they deem them untraceable and do the scan anyway.
The NST is just so uncomfy b/c I have to be in this reclining chair on my back and I have bad back pain and I get light headed. Did anyone else have to get NST's EVERY single week?

Re: Weird question - NST
I had them once, sometimes twice a week for 10 weeks and I had to hold the little monitors on my belly! I hated them

Re: Weird question - NST
I know what you mean!!!!
I have to hold the stupid paddle..while a nurse sits and holds the other.. one baby is always VERY low.. and my belly is giant and I can hardly reach.. so to hold it for so long while lying on my back is so stressful!!

Re: Weird question - NST
I had them weekly for my last 10 weeks of pg. Very annoying but worth it for peace of mind that the babies were ok.
