Weirdest thing just happened when I called Pottery Barn Kids
I'm explaining to the rep something I want to get and am guiding her through the online site - because she can't find it. As I'm talking she suddenly says "I gotta go we have a tornado warning bye" and hangs up. I sat there with my face like this 
I don't know where they are located, but I could hear the terror in her voice. Hope all is ok.

As someone who lived in the midwest for 4 years, that's so scary and just gave me the chills. I do not miss those sirens at all.

As someone who lived in the midwest for 4 years, that's so scary and just gave me the chills. I do not miss those sirens at all.
I actually moved out to Iowa for nearly 2 years so I could see a tornado. But I'm not sane. I'm a weather junkie.

My grandfathers house was destroyed TWICE by tornados in the 1980's
He lives in Lexington, KY and the second time he was hit, he made front page paper all the way here in Virginia Beach, VA
I would be terrified if I heard one was on the way.

Yeah, I just saw this on Fox News -- they were showing footage from Oklahoma of widespread power outages and severe weather, etc.
How scary!!

Ditto! I remember the tornado drills at school with everyone lined up in the hallways with their head between their knees.
