Well, If Old Wives Tales are true....
I'm giving birth to Chewbacca!!!!
Holy freaking heartburn. I have ALWAYS had horrible reflux, I take 2 pepcid a day. I am so done with this painful heartburn. I think water and bread may be the only things that DON'T bother me.
10 weeks as of tomorrow....Thank goodness.

a friend of mine had a ton of hearburn as well and her daughter was born with thick, dark brown hair... a ton of it. She lost some, but now 4 weeks she still has a full head of hair. I barely have any heartburn so I'm guessing my baby is gonna be bald. LOL

Ask your doc for a prescription for Nexium. It has been the ONLY thing to provide relief for me.
I take one every morning, and I sometimes feel like the burn is coming on... but, it is so not like it was before the Nexium.
I couldn't handle it before-- it was insane!!! I felt like I was going to breathe fire constantly.

i have bad reflux, so i have been able to take my prescription meicine the entire pregnancy. DS had jet black hair when he was born and in DD sonos they show me her hair floating around her head....so maybe there is some truth to that tale!

I have had terrible heartburn. At a sono appointment at 28 weeks, the sono tech could see hair on the baby. She said this is the only wives tale she believes!

Well, my baby might have a fro because i had horrible heartburn which has eased up and i did my 37 week sono last week and the tech said, wow, your baby has a ton of hair, we could see it floating, it was wild...

I hope not b.c. then this baby will be a HUGE baldy. I had horrific heartburn with DD and she had a full head of hair - so far no heartburn yet so I will have to see

I had horrible heartburn with DD - to the point where I would wake up in the middle of the night with the reflux in my lungs....and at just over 2 years, people STILL think that she is a boy since she has no hair!

I had no idea we could take Nexxium!!!!! I am putting that on my ?? list for my OB right away!!!!!!!!

i had bad HB with both kids, one was born with some hair and the other, very little thin hair. So far (24w) i've only had it once or twice, actually this week- hopefully its not the start of things to come, maybe this one is a baldy.
