Well, it starts tomorow
Tomorrow I start my IVF cycle. I have a sonogram, a physical, have to bring DH's SA and they will teach me about the injections. I start Lupron tomorrow.
I still cant believe this is really happening. I hope I can sleep tonight.
We put our Christmas tree up today and I just feel now more than ever that this is such a magical time of year- I am hoping Santa brings us all what we are wishing for.

Lots of luck....I felt the same way when we started the IVF process. I felt so excited.

Lots of luck - where are you going? I tried to schedule my IVF (which I had been planning for 3 months) and they told me no IVF in December - would I like to do an IUI - like it was an item on a dinner menu !!

Thanks everyone. My appointment went well and my progesterone level was good so I start Lupron in the morning.
I think this MD is a bit of a worrier (he even said so). A couple years ago they found a hemangioma on my liver , which from what I am told is a benign cluster of blood vessels and there is really nothing you can do about it. He made me get a letter from my PCP that there was no problem doing IVF and even WITH that he plans to consult a GI specialist. better safe than sorry I guess. I just feel like I am up in the air again, but I am going forward with meds so I think he is just covering all his bases.
I'll let you know how I do with my first injection tomorrow. &&&
ETA: This clinic is so much more organized. Today I had blood, sono, a physical, a pap, met with the nurse who tought me about the injections and with billing to pay my bill. I got there at 9:15 and was out in my car by 10:25!!! That never would have happened at my old place.
