Wellness Week 1 - how are you feeling?
I am so into this - it is helping me become more present - especialy with my eating - in the past - if I was dipping, I'd go for some type of carby thing - nothing too junky, but usually a bagel or something - I brought my own lunch today and snacks, and felt so much better.
Time with Cailen was awesome - I got so teary eyed looking at him and seeing what a little person he has become! The funny thing is - I had the TV off, and he kept lifting the remote trying to turn it on!

I did yoga tonight. I was feeling very tight (short breathing) and it really helped loosen me back up. Getting back into yoga is really my main goal for this month. I really want to find a way to work this back into my life.
I also remembered to read to Daniel. Although that was more of a struggle since he would rather play with the book than listen to me read it
But overall I feel good.

Cailen is the same way - I get a very short book and hold it up so he has to look up at it and can't grab it... I pick books that he is familiar with and have a sing songy style to it - Brown Bear Brown Bear what do you see (his favorite) and with big bright pictures - if its short enough, I can keep him engaged....

Well I started running again- yesterday and today. I also have been pretty good on WW and it paid off!! I finally got myself to a meetnig and I'm down 4.4!!!!!
I also started reading more. i finished Eat Pray Love and Shopaholic and Sister and now I am reading Summer by Edith Wharton (love her!).
I have tried to be more present with Jordana. We had so much fun last night. I came home and was lstening to some Alabina (middle eastern music) on my Ipod. I put it on for her and we danced around the living room. I didn't turn on the computer at all. I made dinner and we ate it together. There was no hot water, so no bath time and we ended up playing even more.
I am still working on less LIF time at work.

We do it at least 3 days a week (excluding her music class). Jordana loves to dance!! And I can definitely use it to dance away the work day.

Not a great week....I have a killer cold and so the dog walking was a bust. I did good with the reading and work reading but there's always next week.....right?
I like the check in because it makes me feel more responsible for my plan...This was a great idea lipgloss
