went a little crazy at the benjamin moore store update - going back tomorrow!
I came home with 14 of those little 2 ounce jars of paint. . . for 3 rooms. I'm not sure that I needed 9 shades of blue/gray for the dining room - but I started to get obsessed.
update - I'm going back tomorrow and getting 11 more!
I'm getting 4 for DD's room (Moonlight, Morning Sunshine, Provence Creme, Butter)
1 for the basement - Elephant Tusk
5 for the kitchen - Summer lime, hibiscus, wales green, celadon, daiquiri ice (this is AFTER looking at Lehigh Green, Kennebunkport Green and Scenic Drive)
1 for our room - Tyler Taupe
And we still haven't decided on the livingroom - it's either Chestertown Buff or Concord Ivory!
Dining Room will be Hemlock!

I did the same thing with the color tan! They add up very quickly - but it's worth it if you find the perfect color!!
Happy painting!!

Totally worth it. You can't put a price on only doing it once

Re: went a little crazy at the benjamin moore store
Thanks - we're going by the house tomorrow and we'll see which colors we like. Somehow I know that DH is going to look at the different stripes of color and say "they all look the same!"

Re: went a little crazy at the benjamin moore store
Thats better than painting a room 3 times (which is what we did)
I just can't find the right one.

HAHA I have 6 on my wall right now- definitely worth it not to have to repaint, like we have to

We bought a ton of those too, and a piece of white foam core and put all the colors on there, and then put accent colors next to the main colors to see what we liked best. It worked for us!

I did something similar (just primed and painted on some spare sheetrock). That way we could move the color around in different light, etc. Definitely better than having to paint an entire room over again...
