Went out for the first time last night...
and my friends are suspicious because I wasnt drinking! I blamed it on stomach problems which I think they bought for now but this is going to be a LONG first trimester!
DH said that that I was a trooper. We went out straight after work, then went downtown saw a band, and then hung out at a bar near out apt for a while. Out for 7hrs (in HIGH heels!) with everyone else drinking and I was SO tired!

If you're a beer drinker, most bars do have O'Doul's or the other non-alcoholic beer (can't remember the name of it right now). Send DH to the bar alone and have him come back with a drink for him and your 'beer'. They look like Bud Light or Coors Light when in a glass, you can totally get away with it (even if you just hold it)

unfortunately, I drink wine and cant drink beer even when not PG so it wont work for me but that's a great trick!
