Went to 3 more condo open houses this weekend. MUCH BETTER
a bit pricey, but way better than last week.
We saw 3 new condos (2 new constructions, one building conversion) within walking distance (roughy...we waled it LOL) from where we live now.
One Hanson Place
very nice. good views on most sides, decent sized rooms. well laid out. Viking stainless appliances. granite kitchens...the works.
too pricey for what we would want to pay.
Forte- (Fulton and Ashland- and my favorite of the three)
awesome lobby. BEAUTIFUL views on all sides. apts were nicely laid out. GE stainless appliances. buidling had nice amenties. right next to BAM.
if we were in the market to spend 600k on an apt, this could be it.
Oro- Flatbush and Gold
also very nice. and we could afford it more readily if we wanted to. again, nice layouts, GE appliances, fitness center, pool, raquetball/basketball court, and a LOUNGE (complete with bar) for hanging out.
dh was tempted, BUT with our unique situation, it still may prove to be the least smart thing for us to do with our money.
I think there are a few people looking at condos, so I just wanted to provide a little review. definitely worth looking at.

Not that I know any of these areas, but I'm curious...how many bedrooms are these?

In a way I think its great that you guys are checking out places within all price ranges (I guess its easier to compare when making a decision) but I could never...it would make me depressed.

we have 2 numbers.
the number we WANT to spend and keep our fabu life 
the number we COULD spend, and stay home a lot more
