Went to Mommy Movies today!!
We saw 27 Dresses - cute but not earth-shattering. It was great to go though, and to see Donna and Noah. We met some other moms too.
Love the Mommy Movies - wish they were closer. Of course I spoke to the manager at B'way Mall theatre and suggested they do it. NOW - Gymboree is moving to the Source Mall so watch them do it at B'way now - just my luck!

The first time I went with Summer, DS was 4 months old and it was no problem. There is no age limit at all.

I don't remember the site to go to find out more details but I know the big theatre on Route 10 in East Hanover does it.

The child doesn't have to be a certain age. DD is 5 months but there looked to be both older and younger children. What do you mean safe?

What do the toddlers do while the movie is going on..is everyone in their seats. My girls would never stay in their seats for 2 hours..they need activities.

I havent seen any toddlers. But the entire theater is empty. Actually Im lying, I saw someone today and they had their child running around in the rows and no one even noticed till they were leaving.
a lot of people get up, walk aroudn etc. They keep the lights low instead of completly off.

There are other people in the movie theater itself besides the mommies and babies in that particular show. I guess it would be just as safe as taking the baby to the movies any other time.

I was there also with my DD!! It was def great to be able to get to the movies!! I asked my DH to go but he works and wasn't interested in 27 dresses anyway! LOL
I would love to meet up with some of you momies next time!
