We're going on a mini vacation-update

and bringing Jersey! We're going to Cape May, NJ (where we got engaged) and staying at a pet friendly hotel. I'm so excited. I hope we can bring her on the beach. I just packed her little "doggy bag"

Tell us how it was...we were going to go there last year and ended up at New Hope instead ( with Misty ).
I would love to know how dog-friendly the town is and what it's like.

OK, we're back and we had a great time! We have been to Cape May a bunch of times. We love mini getaways in quaint beach towns. Jersey loved it. She was good in the car. We actually just put her in her dog bed in the backseat and she slept most of the time. The rest of the time I held her. She's growing so fast I was sad that I won't be able to do that much longer ANyway, the hotel was called Marquis de Lafayette and it is right across the street from the boardwalk, beach and stores. The prime season doesn't start until the middle of April so we were able to take her on the beach & boarwalkw/out a problem but during peak they aren't allowed. She loved the beach and looked so cute jumping in the sand and chasing the water We walked our butts off which we all benefitted from and at one last night we put her in her crate while we went to a romntic dinner. It worked out perfectly! We even let her sleep in the bed with us which we don't do at home. She loved that and I'll admit we did too Anyway I guess that's all. We are definitley looking forward to going away with her again!
