PITTSBURGH!!!!!

Anyway anyone been? Any suggestions?? My sister is there for a course for a few weeks so we're going to visit her - me, mom, and DD who is a year old...

I live in Pittsburgh now! Its actually a really nice city.

If you like baseball, defenitly go to a Pirates game. Although the Pirates are terrible, the games are fun and sometimes there opponents are good.

Take the incline up to the top of Mt. Washington so you can see the whole city. This is a must do, I think the incline costs 3 dollars.

There are boat tours of the 3 rivers and also a duck toar in amphibious vehicles.

The Zoo is also really nice, since you have a little one.

I could name a ton of things, let me know if you want any more ideas.

Any suggestions on MUST-TRY restaurants?? That will be OK with a little one?

My sis has been to a Pirates game and had a lot of fun, not sure she (or my 80-year-old mother) wants to go again. Zoo sounds great, and Mt Washington and duck tours are definites.

I am starting to get psyched - NY TImes Travel section had an article the other day and said Pittsburgh is actually - dare they say it - "hip!"

I just came back from visiting my Dad who lives in a suburb of Pittsburgh.

Definetly go to the zoo..it is nice, easy walking, has an aquarium and its not so big like the Bronx Zoo. It is 1 path thru the zoo (where as the Bronz Zoo you could get lost...lol)

We took a drive up to Mt Washington but didin't take the trolly up the incline.
