We're Officially Homeowners!
We closed yesterday!!! It went really well! I still can't believe we own a house.
The only surprise we received was we had to pay a $760 one-time fee to waive escrow since we'll be paying our taxes ourselves (we'd need a years worth of taxes at closing based on Rockland County law and I thought that was ridiculous for them to hold that much in escrow at this point).
Thanks everyone for all of your help through the process!!!

We did the same thing, we are paying our taxes ourselves cause we didnt want to hold all that money in an escrow account either
