Were you discouraged to try to have ..........

another child after a miscarriage. I had one miscarriage at 8 weeks in March of 2005, then I had a healthy baby boy in February of 2006 (blessing) and just this past week I had another miscarriage at 15 weeks. I'm scared and sad to try anymore. I was an only child and don't want DS to be an only child but I feel that getting pregnant is too scary and not a happy thing for me. I had a scare with DS at 16 weeks. Luckily we didn't tell any family but how can I do that everytime??

Has anyone felt discouraged and/or scared as well?

I had a constant fear of losing my DD after my mc. I can completely relate to your post. I will have the same fear when we try for #2. I needed progesterone supplements to help my pregnancy early on so now it's in my head that my body lacks the progesterone to hold a pregnancy. Unfortunately we don't know what the future will bring but I pray it brings us healthy pregnancies!!

I had one healthy child nI didnt even think about MC - . I then had a MC when trying for # 2. When I got Pregnant with my little princess I was scared until the day she was born that something would go wrong. I have 2 children now and I am 100% done.

I haven't had a mc but I need to say if you are at all worried about recurrent mcs, you should talk to an RE to help you. I saw a very close friend deal with mcs for years. I would hate to see something tear you apart like it did her. I think it's time to get some answers. It could be as simple as taking something to help implantation along.

Thanks everyone for the post. I also had to take progesterone with DS and everything was fine. I'll worry too the next time but as someone said I can't let it tear me apart. I'm sure I'll try again someday it just helps to hear other experiences to know that you are not alone.

Sorry to intrude, but did they find a cause for your miscarriages/ If not, I would recommend getting tested for APS. Best of luck to you!
