West Hills Dog Park
Piper, DH and I were there on Sunday.
Was anyone else there?
It was our first time at a Dog Park. I really did like West Hills and was surprised at how clean they kept it. I didn't see any poop. I was nervous about some of the dogs being aggressive. DH thought I was being overly protective and that it was puppy play not fighting. But, until I figure out what is aggressive and puppy playing, I will be over protective.
We've been socializing Piper since we got him, which is probably why he wasn't nervous at the dog park.

Re: West Hills Dog Park
I take Gus to West Hills sometimes when I'm by my parents house, he likes it there, in the summer it's a little wicked though, there isn't very much shade, and there's no water (no water to swim in)....so then I'll take him to Coindre, and Gardiners, and Smithpoint Beach

We went to Smithpoint beach a while ago but I couldn't find the area for dogs. Whereabouts is it?

Re: West Hills Dog Park
My husband and sister were there this Sunday with my two dogs. I wasn't feeling up to it so I stayed home. I've been there before and it's nice and big.

What time were they there? What are your dogs names? Maybe, I saw them.
ETA: I just saw your profile. NO, I didn't see them.

the area where you can bring in a camper/4 wheeler...the place where you can actually camp out. if you're in the parking lot and you're standing looking at the entrances, it's the entrance over to the far left, you park in the main lot, and then walk through the area for 4 wheelers, onto that side of the beach. It's a bit of a hike, but totally worth it.
