West Islip Country Fair this Sunday
Figured I'd post this earlier since a bunch of people asked me to remind them a couple of weeks ago.
It's the 33rd Annual West Islip Country Fair on Sunday, September 21st
Hours: 11 AM - 5 PM
W.I. Library Grounds
Corner of Higbie Lane and Montauk Hwy
My booth # is B16  Please stop by and say hello if you go to the fair!
Music Program
11:00 am - 12:30 pm NY Most Dangerous Big Band - led by Edward Decorsia
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm Six Gun - led by Joe Speora
2:45 pm - 3:35 pm MELISSA (Country Soloist)
3:50 pm - 4:50 pm Joe Bayer Band
12 noon - 2:00 pm Square Dancing with Primo Fiore
Over 300 Craft Vendors
Bounce, Slide, Petting Zoo, Magician, Face Painting,
Sand Art for Children
Come taste the wide variety of foods!
Italian, Polish, Mexican, ice cream, french fries, sweet potatoes,
funnel cakes, hot dogs, hamburgers and more!

Hand-painted stemware and other decorative items...
It's a big fair- there are over 300 vendors- I did it last year as well and thought it was a really nice fair.

I'm not sure to be honest... the Babylon fair is spread around the lake, so I've never actually gotten to all of the booths b/c I can't leave my booth for that long.
This one all of the vendors seem to be in one or two groups and then the food and music and inflatable slides are spread around from what I can remember. HTH!
Oh, I added a map from their website too (www.westislipcountryfair.com) - it's just east of 231 on Montauk Highway - about 5 mins if even from where Babylon's fair was.
A lot of the same vendors go to this one that were at the Babylon show, but I think this one is much easier to walk around if you have a stroller or kids, etc... it's all on grass.

dh is from WI and his mom has a booth there for the Beautification Society. We went a few years ago-it's a great time. I love the pickle booth

Me, my mom and my sister go just about every year. We've been going for years; I grew up in West Islip...to me that really means fall is here.

I went - it was such a beautiful day. I really thought they had a good selection of booths and some really nice stuff. However, the food selection stunk. I was totally not impressed with that part.
