In Cozumel we went on a booze cruise to an island and that was a lot of fun. At night we went to Carlos and Charlies (had to be back on the ship around midnight.) In Ochos Rios we climbed the waterfalls and went to an small eco-zoo and then to Margarittaville for food and drinks. It was pretty pricey but fun. In Grand Caymen we didn't really do much. We didn't find the town all that appealing, so we just went to the beach- which was the most gorgeous water I've ever been in. I really wanted to do the sting ray swim, which everyone said was awesome, but DH didn't want to do it.

went in 2001 with some friends. the excursions we had are probably different now but here it is anyway...
ochos rios - we did the walk up the waterfall. i didn't really like it. it was hard to walk up without having the jamaican guys literally pull you up in certain spots. it was pretty but not that pretty imho. but then again i'm kind of a wimp! but when we did it is was not combined with anything else. that might've helped. we just had a rocky boat ride to and from our ship.
cozumel - party boat to a beach. it was fun. beach was nice but not as nice as in grand cayman. we had time after to visit the strip where the bar Carlos & Charlie's is. that's a must do in my opinion. plus there was some nice cheap places for silver around there.
grand cayman - we did an island tour that included a half submarine ride with views of the coral (really nice but i'm not sure they offer it anymore), a stop at a rum cake factory, a stop at "Hell" (black coral spot - really just a tourist spot for a gift shop), a stop at the turtle farm (loved this - you get to pick up the little ones). then the tour guide let us off at the public beach. the beach was wonderful. the water was the calmest, clearest i've ever seen. if you opt not to do a tour on this island you'd be just fine spending the day at the beach. it was easy to get back to the ship - i think there was a cheap bus or something. by the way my mom went on the same cruise a couple years ago and she did the excursion with the sting rays. she said it was amazing. and she's more of a wimp than me. after steve irwin got stung she said she really can't believe she did that.

cozumel...we went to a party all inclusive beach/zoo. It was so great.
caymen...I wanted to go to the turtle farm...instead we went to Hell. DH wanted to sent postcards from Hell(its a town there)

cayman... you must go swimming with the sting rays!! you must. The turtle farm was nice, but had lunch there and guess what was on the menu...yup...turtle soup. I hated it after that.
About swimming with the stingrays...they really are docile creatures and steve irwin's death was really a fluke sort of thing.
Cozymel we went off roading in doon buggies...it was great!!!
