Ugh!!!!!!!!

We're the latest victims of the LIF Toddlers poor sleeping jinx


DD's sleeping was a NIGHTMARE last night. The littlest sound would wake her, she'd cry out for a minute, go back to sleep, then the next noise a minute later would wake her again This was from 11:30pm-now, she did that consistently until around 4am, when she finally has been sleeping since (which she never sleeps this late, ever). She has teeth coming in, so that's got to be what it is.

The baseboard heaters would make a noise, she'd wake...she'd hear a car outside, she'd wake...the dishwasher was running, she'd wake from that.

I got about 2 hours of sleep last night, if you pieced together all the 5 minute intervals

Do you have a sound machine?

I am running to BRU this morning to pick up a few things - I can get the one Jack has for you.

We have a fan in her room we use for white noise, we have since Day 1. It usually works. It was definitely the teeth last night. She woke up an hour ago and is in the best mood, no fever, runny nose or anything ( I swear )

And yes, I totally jinxed myself!

i am so sorry...i guess they are at an age where its going to start to fluctuate. I hope this doesnt happen again tonight for you and it was just last night

Alright what is going on around here. DS (10 months) has been bite by this bad sleeping bug too. This is the worst sleeping pattern he has EVER had! I mean he came home sleeping 6 hours now 2-3! The last 2 nights he was up for over an hour screaming and then last night I just didn’t know what to do for the first time in his little life I let him sleep in our bed! He curled up with DH and slept until about 6:30 although mommy didn’t sleep well! We are going on vacation in 10 days and I know its bad but I am looking forward to sleeping through the night and not getting woken up (DS isn’t coming with us)

So THAT is why DD isn't sleeping well??? I must catch up on the boards!!! I didn't even know there was a "bad sleeping bug" going around
