I have heard of teething that early although Hailey didn't get teeth till 10 months. You can always try more at each feeding but she could just have had an off night or gas. Chat Icon

Re: What a bad night with Madison...

It could be teething. DD got her first tooth at 4 months. And remember teeting is going on way before we see a tooth. I would suggest giving Tylenol and seeing if she seems to be relieved. All of the symptoms you described sound like teething.

You could also try giving her an 8 oz bottle. Let her take in what she wants. Sometimes they are more hungry than others, just like usChat Icon

yes like today at 12 it took over an hour for her to eat the 6 ounces then at 330 she was screaming and it only took her like 10 minutes to eat......... when i rub my finger over the bottom of her gums there are bumps there, but not sure... if she is like this tommorow i will give her some tyl.

Re: What a bad night with Madison...

Cailen was like this a week or so ago - I was convinced he was teething too because he was drooling and gumming evertyhing - I bought those teething rings that you put in the fridge just in case... no teeth yet - and he seems better...

I think these kids go thru growth spurts and everything hurts and feels uncomfortable for them....

Mine are 11 weeks as well and well, we are TEETHINGChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon big time!!!
It started with the entire fist in the mouth last week to the point of DD gagging a few times.
Last weekend she would scream for what seemed no reason... we would turn on the vaccuum to calm her down and it would stop.
Tues, my MIL and I figured it had to be teething, at this point it was still only Chat Icon
Yesterday, they were both good as gold, no crying episodes.... nothing
Today, Chat Icon had an episode in the morning and then slept from 12-3 and my Chat Icon is not a napper. By late this afternoon both were crying.
I offered Chat Icon an iced teether and he loved it and looked up at me and smiled due to the relief.
By 6:30 I called the doc and we gave both of them a dose of Tylenol to relieve the pain. They both went at 7:15 and are sleepingChat Icon

It comes in waves so one day they will have a rough time and the next nothing, then back again, etc.

Good luckChat Icon If you don't already have some infant Tylenol definetly get some asap.

I would try feeding her more. I think she is definetely hungry. Sometimes they want to eat more during a growth spurt.

Same here. DD is 10 weeks old. I know she is teething. I bought those teething rings and she loves the coolness of it on her gums. I have also been rubbing my finger along the bottom of her gums for releif as well.

Is it necessary to give Tylenol? She doesnt seem like she is in pain. But she def is stuffing her face with her fists and chewing on them like no tomorrow.

Re: What a bad night with Madison...

DD has been teething since she was 9 weeks old. Some days were worse than others- Tylenol really helps.

She just started cutting the teeth this week- at 6 1/2 monthsChat Icon Then you move on to Motrin. Teething stinksChat Icon
