What a busy day today...
since the doctor said that I am definitely not making it until my due date, it was crunch time and we finally got things done! We installed the car seat, put together the stroller, took our maternity tour at Beth Israel (which by the way was awesome - we got so much information, got to see the triage and birthing rooms, met some nurses, etc etc.), I washed Michael's newborn and 0-3 months clothes, put things away, organized his little nursery area, put together the co-sleeper and now I am beyond exhausted, I have swolen feet and my boy is dancing away in there...
All I have left is put together my hospital bag (which I have everything ready for), sterilize the binkys and certain bottles, and the rest is just minor around the house stuff. I am still working and trying to pull off another 2 weeks although I doubt I can make it that far.

As a result of yesterday's madness my head is literally hitting the keyboard...I want to SLEEP! Sometimes I feel like I am NEVER going to get any sleep before this little man comes...

Wow, you got a lot done. That's a staggering list. What is your new due date, or do you have one?
Glad to hear you were happy with the Beth Israel tour! I'm delivering there too, and keep thinking, what if I don't like it? We're going for a tour before the month is out.

They haven't given me a new due date, but based on my effacement and the fact that I'm starting to dilate, the doctor said that there is no way that I am making it until the 28th...thats why I'd rather be prepared!
You're going to love Beth Israel...they're one of the 50 hospitals throughout the U.S. that are family-friendly...meaning that your entire stay there will be all about you bonding with your baby, and your baby will be with you at all times, except for brief visits to the nursery to be cleaned up, weighed or for the circumscision surgery if you're having a boy...I really enjoyed the tour and learned a lot just from that little 1 1/2 hours...the only that $ucks royally is the parking...on Sunday you'll be fine, but any other day CAB IT...you have to feed the meter every hour AND the parking is RIDICULOUSLY expensive.
