What a Day

So I tripped and fell hard on the Port Jeff ferry last night, coming home from my interview in CT. Went right over the door jam and landed like a rock. Bent back my finger, scraped my knee and hit my belly a bit. My back was killing me but no spotting, felt the baby move and no pain in the belly so I came home and went to bed.

This morning I had sharp pain under my belly.

Needless to say, spent 7 hours in the hospital. Labor and Delivery was great. The nurses were wonderful. I checked in at 10:27am and by 10:45 I was in a bed and hooked on monitors for heart beat and to check for contractions. Radiology was the problem. It was 2 hours from the sono being ordered until I got there. A half hour to get a transport back to L&D and then another 2 hours for radiology to post the results until Dr. Berlin got on the phone with them and raised hell.

Baby is fine, I on the other hand am super sore and have pulled muscles in several places.
