Has anyone had either during preg & does it go away quickly with treatment?

I had PUPPPS about the last 3 weeks of pg with DS. I was a mess, it was all over my stomach, legs, arms, and butt.

I took oatmeal baths, used immense amounts of Sarna lotion, and frozen peas. I was prescribed steriods, but I didnt want to take them.

Hope you feel better.Chat Icon

I had PUPPS during my pregnancy. The rash could be anything but my big symptom was the relentless itching over most of my lower body. PUPPS isn't usually focused on a single spot, like your knee, it would be spread across your stomach and possibly your hands / feet. Feel better Chat Icon

hmm... maybe it's not pupps then. I've never had any type of rash before & it's only on a small area on my knee.. I go to the dr next weekend so i'll ask him then.

I had a horrible case of PUPPPS - it started on my belly and then spread to my legs, feet and arms.

It's not usually contained to one spot and it usually starts on your belly.

Whatever it is, I hope you get some relief! Chat Icon

Welcome to the club, I have both! Chat Icon
Aveeno soap, using extremely cold water on the area (right before getting out of the shower, powdering the area with cornstarch and Calamine lotion has helped a lot with the PUPPPS. As far as the other problem, wet wipes and frequent showers, I am scared to use any medicines, but you can ask the doctor. Good luck and I am sorry you have to deal with this too Chat Icon
