What age can your DC go in the pool?
a chlorinated pool, not like one of the little ones that you just fill with the hose.
My DS is due in early June and we have a pool. I was wondering if he'll be able to go in it at all this summer.

We first put DS in a pool at 3 months. I thin you should be OK dipping his feet in but I wouldn't put him in too much more too early.

I think you will be fine. I would wait until mid-july when the water is a bit warmer. Ask the Dr. but I'm sure it will be ok, especially if it is your pool which isn't as heavily cholrinated like a public pool.

my mom used to bring DD into the pool at 4 months, but it was heated.

Kaitee was 1 month old the first time we took her in.

She LOVED it! She has been a water baby since day 1!

Ella was born the end of June, and she was in the pool that first summer. She wasn't a big fan of it though until the following year.
My ped said it was fine, and I would be sure to rinse her off with fresh water so the chlorine didn't stay on her skin.

DS was born in May and I did not put him in a pool last summer...i was too worried about his skin, chemicals etc
IMO they are still too young and wouldnt even enjoy it then....this summer he will be one and I cant wait to get him in a pool
