What age did you begin stage 3?
DS is a hungry little man. He is 7 1/2 months and I was thinking about switching him to stage 3 at around 8 months or so...Any suggestions? Right now he typically eats 1 1/2 stage 2 three times a day and drinks 26-30 oz of bm a day. He is a skinny little man though and is still only in the 25% for weight. Thanks

Re: What age did you begin stage 3?
I tried them at around that age. She never really liked them much though. I'll be honest I just made my DD real food that she could mush with her gums. She only had her 2 bottom teeth until she was a year old, but she was almost entirely on table food by 10 months. Some examples: I made frozen or steamed veggies - overcooked them a bit so they were mushy (primarly peas and carrots), baked potatoes/sweet potatoes (you could do mashed but my DD is milk allergic), baked chicken cut up small, meatballs cut up small, meatloaf, elbow mac cut in half, pancakes, scrambled eggs, etc.
If your DD can eat cherrios or puffs then he should be able to handle the stuff I mentioned. Just make sure you cut it up small - I think the guideline is the size of a pea or the tip of your pinky.)
Hope that helps.

My dd hated Stage 3.. made her gag. I started table foods and still give stage 2.
I now have a cabinet full of stage 3 earths best if anyone wants them.
