what age did your baby pull him/her self up to a standing position?
my son is 8 months old,and he doesnt try to pull himself up to stand,what age do they normally.

My DS started at about 8 mos
he has always wanted to stand but really trying to do it on his own i would say 8 mos. He is a late bloomer

i don't know about what is normal but DD started to do it the day before her 1st birthday!!-i think that is on the late side. she's pretty lazy though.

My first did it around 9 - 10 months, my 2nd did at 10 months, and my daughter just did it for the first time today (10 months exactly)

Pulling up by herself started at 11 1/2 months (she would stand if WE lifted her earlier than that). She was a late-ish crawler so her progression seems to be at a steady rate.

Before 8 mos he could pull up but only to his knees...early 8 mos he was able to pull up from sitting position. Nine months he was able to get up from any position by getting to his knees and climbing up and back down as well.

Both my girls learned to do this about 2 weeks after they started crawling.

DD started doing it at 11 months. The PED was slightly concerned when I reported she wasn't doing it at her 9 month, until she saw her crawling like a maniac. As long as they are crawling fine, its not a worry.
