What age do you give water and how much?

DD has to be in the right mood to eat her veggies...so sometimes it will be after a bottle. I'm guessing she must get a little thirsty from the food. Should I give her water after? If so, how much? Thanks!

My Dr. said they get all the water/liquids they need from the boob/bottle. He said as summer comes closer I may want to give him and ounce or two if I think he's having less diapers. If you really feel she's thristy I would give her maybe 2oz in a bottle.

Okay thanks. I guess I can't tell if she's thirsty. Are babies usually ok after eating veggies not having any formula?

I've been giving Steven water from the beginning. Not much, just an oz or 2. Can you save an oz of her bottle for after the veggies?

Well sometimes I'll give it to her after her last bottle, like an hour or so after...

You can give water really from the beginning. We give it to Ava everyday with every meal because the Neocate is extremely constipating, and the water prevents that. We started early, like 2 months old. I never measured it. She drinks it from a sippy cup now and just drinks as much as she wants.

I was told not until he is a yr old. Too much water is not good for a baby because of their kidneys.

Ped said there is enough water in the bottles.
