What am I doing wrong-putting shoes on?
Since about 2-3 months I've been trying to put shoes on him, but I am obviously the most stupid shoe mom out there. It's not about size, because I try 3 different sizes on. Then he got measured and I tried that size, nope, next size up, nope. It seems like he might be curling his toes up, because I push it in as far as I think it can go, then I can't slip it over his heel.
Any advice? Poor kid has blisters on his big toes now and he's trying to walk.
TIA!!!

Open up the whole shoe...like if it has laces loosen them a lot before you put his foot in..if they are velcro do the same thing. He's curling his toes..
PS if he is trying to walk he's better to be barefoot any way!!!!

We had a similair issue...so we just forgo shoes for now. Noah cruises and its best to not have shoes on for that.
Once he starts walking, IW ill have him fitted again and get stride rites.
I use soft soled shoes for when we need to go out. They dont have that problem going on.

My younger son always did this - it didn't help that he has fat feet too. The salesperson at the shoe store showed me how you sort of massage the instep of their foot and they uncurl their toes. I'm not sure if the explanation is as helpful as seeing it done but ti really works.
