I regularly send money to the Bide-A-Wee home. It's a wonderful no kill shelter.
My childhood dog and the cat DH and I adopted together both came from there. Both have been wonderul pets.
When they can, they rescue animals from kill shleters. I would save every cat and dog if I could

I haven't send a check to an animal charity in quite a while  but I make purchases from them and the proceeds go to the organization. I also participate in raffles and I am known to send items like dog leashes to rescuers. Almost Home Dachshund Rescue and Dachshund Rescue or North America are 2 of the ones I have supported with purchases and raffle tickets.

Me too. plus humane society, little shelter, puppy mill rescue, Bobbi and the Strays, LI Greyhound rescue, and a few other local ones.

Farm Sanctuary.
DH and I did a big donation in our guests' names for our wedding and last year for my birthday DH adopted a pig for me. We donate to them a few times a year.

I believe donations come in all shapes and sizes. Having said that this is what I do to contribute.
Kent Animal Shelter - Monetary dontaion as well as adopting my pup Arnold. 
RED - Monetary donation by purchasing their products at the GAP.
Little Shelter - Monetary donation at the Adop-a-Thon this past spring.
Whenever a store or bar sells a "shamrock or sneaker" for a various charity I buy one.
I donate clothing to Big Brothers/Big Sisters every few months.
Also, every Christmas I buy presents for "angel" from the Salvation Army Tree in the supermarket I shop in. It is a tree that has all these little angels hanging on it. Each angel represents a needy child and written on the angel are things they need. Think shoes, sock, pants, sweaters, etc. Then on the bottom is their "want". Usually, it's a toy. I get everything on the list. I just can't imagine a child not having presents to open Christmas Day.

Me too on all the above! I bought for 4 kids last year b/c I could not decide. And I bought them the wants...
